Instead of interrupting your work and displaying an alarm message in the center of your screen,
1st Clock displays a smart notification balloon near the clock for 9 seconds. Click the balloon to have the alarm message displayed in a window. No action will make the alarm message gently blink on your Windows taskbar and you will be able to check it later at any time.
You can customize how long alarm balloons should stay on the screen and even make them permanent, i.e. balloons do not hide, until you click them.

You can customize how long the alarm message should blink and even disable blinking at all.

If you click the alarm notification balloon or the alarm message on the taskbar,
then the alarm message displays in a window.
You can review this message and Close the alarm or Snooze it for a specified period.
If you close or snooze the alarm message, then 1st Clock automatically brings to front the next pending alarm message. This way you can easily process all alarms waiting for your reaction.
If you would like to get back to work now and review alarms later, you can minimize the alarm message, and check it later at any time.

There are additional actions available for alarms,
click the arrow right to the Snooze button in the alarm message window to see the advanced alarm menu
- Minimize All Alarms - minimizes all visible alarm message windows.
- Snooze... - let's you snooze the alarm until the specified date/time.
- Edit... - let's you edit the alarm.
- Disable - suspends the alarm from running until you manually enable it.
- Delete... - deletes the alarm after your confirmation.
- Show alarm list... - shows the alarm list and highlights this alarm in the list.
For example if you select Edit... in this menu, then change the alarm text and press OK, then the updated alarm will be immediately displayed again with a new message.

If you prefer your alarm to interrupt your work,
then simply mark the alarm as High Priority in the Alarm Edit dialog window.
A High Priority alarm interrupts your work and displays the alarm message in the center of your screen.

The alarm priority is displayed in the Alarm List.
A new column Priority was added to the Alarm List in 1st Clock. If the alarm priority is High or Low, then it is displayed in that column.

High and Low priority alarms can be easily distinguished in the alarm list and in the clock tooltip.
High priority alarms are displayed in bold, Low priority alarms are displayed with blue color.

Prefer not to use the new alarm balloons?
Then open Options|Alarms|Balloons and choose Make all alarms appear as High-priority.

If 1st Clock is running in out of the taskbar mode,
then alarm balloons are displayed near the 1st Clock window itself. If you move the clock around the screen, then balloons are moved with the clock.

When 1st Clock starts, it displays all pending alarms from its last run and all alarms that were supposed to run at the time, when 1st Clock was not running.
You can unload 1st Clock without answering all pending alarms. These alarms will be displayed on 1st Clock next start. Even if Windows hangs or suddenly reboots, all unanswered alarms will be kept until next run!
If PC was turned off, when alarm was supposed to run, it will be displayed on the 1st Clock startup. Please note that you may configure the alarm behaviour in the Options section of the Alarm Edit dialog window.

You can review and manage all 1st Clock alarms with the Alarm List window.
Select Show alarm list... command in the clock menu to display the list.
Running alarms are displayed in the list with a green light in 1st Clock. Double-click the running alarm to bring its alarm message to front. If you want to edit the running alarm, then use Properties... command instead.

In addition to the alarm list, running alarms are now displayed in the clock tooltip.
Running alarms are displayed underlined and with (running) added to their title.

You can easily disable running alarms in the Alarm List.
Just uncheck the checkbox next to the alarm in the list. You can enable this alarm any time later by checking that checkbox back.

You may disable or enable multiple alarms at once.
Select several alarms by holding down Ctrl key and clicking them with a mouse. Then use the new Disable and Enable commands in the menu.
