What is a tray clock?
Tray clock is a clock located at your system tray.
Windows XP tray clock

It displays current hour and minute and you can open the calendar if you
double-click it. If you hold mouse over the tray clock for some time, you will
see the current date. That's all that you can do.
Windows Vista tray clock

In addition to Windows XP tray clock, Vista clock opens the calendar if you click it just once. Also you can show time from one or two additional time zones in the clock tooltip, that is displayed, when you hover mouse over the clock.
Windows 7 tray clock

Windows 7 tray clock, due to the increased system tray height, adds a date display to the clock at last. However you can not customize what date information to display.
